Why Osprey

Three decades of action sports experience, distilled into scooters that ride well from the first session and keep up as confidence grows.

Designed in Devon Since 1994

Osprey started on the Devon coastline making wetsuits and surf hardware, then grew into skateboards, roller skates, and scooters. Action sports DNA is in every part of the lineup.

Built for Real Riding

Aluminium decks, chromoly bars, ABEC-7 bearings, pneumatic off-road tyres, and steel safety brakes — practical specs that match how each scooter is actually used.

Sized for Every Rider

Selected models support riders up to 220 lbs. Adjustable bars, varied deck sizes, and three different scooter categories cover kids learning to ride through adults clocking weekend miles.

Find the Right Size

Match the deck and bar height to the rider — the difference between a scooter your kid loves and one they grow out of in a season.

Osprey scooter sizing chart by rider height and age
  • Match deck to height

Bar height should sit between the rider's belly button and lower chest. Too tall makes turning hard; too short makes tricks unstable.

  • Adults up to 6'2"

Stunt and BMX-style decks fit adults up to about 6'2". Taller riders may prefer the BMX-style scooter for its larger wheels and adjustable bars.

  • Pick by terrain, not age

Skate park = stunt. Trails and dirt = dirt scooter. Longer outdoor rides on mixed surfaces = BMX-style. Age matters less than where the scooter will live.

Ok, I only rode it for one day but I already love it because my previous scooter constantly rattles (so loudly) on the smallest cracks on the road...it's embarrassing. This one can handle a lot of big cracks/ups and down…

Where Riders Take Them

Where each Osprey scooter category fits naturally — from a first push down the driveway to a full skate-park session.

Skate Park & Tricks

Stunt scooters with aluminium decks and 110 mm PU wheels handle the impact of jumps, drops, and spins. The Osprey Neo Elite is the go-to for riders moving from basic riding into freestyle progression.

Dirt & Gravel Trails

Dirt scooters with 200 × 50 mm pneumatic tyres grip on grass, gravel, and dirt where standard wheels skid out. Chromoly bars and BMX-style forks hold up to rough terrain.

Sidewalks & Suburban Streets

BMX-style scooters with 20-inch front and 16-inch rear wheels roll smoothly over the cracks and curbs that knock smaller-wheeled scooters around. Adjustable 88–96 cm bars grow with the rider.

Family Rides & Weekend Outings

Selected adult-rated Osprey scooters support up to 220 lbs, so parents can ride alongside their kids — driveway loops, park trails, and casual rides without an upgrade.
